The Geoff Jones Runcorn Darts League will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting at the War Memorial Club this coming Wednesday 26 February 2025, commencing 7.30pm.
This has been triggered by a member of the league under rule 30 with a rule change proposal with 35 signatories put in stating the following:
A rule change to the format in Section Two, to introduce best of three legs for singles games, single leg for doubles games, with an 8pm start. To be brought in ahead of the 2025 Summer League.
The meeting is open to all signed on members (ie signed on players) of the league. Members should register upon entry which will allow them to vote on the proposed change, and the League Committee would like to remind members that it is "one member, one vote" as opposed to "one team, one vote".
Therefore if you have any strong feelings either for or against the proposal, we encourage you to turn up on the night and cast your vote.
