The Geoff Jones - Memorial Shield - Friday 8th November 2024
Tonight we've had 54 entrants for the Geoff Jones Memorial Shield, which is an absolute fantastic turnout, the winner was Paul Carr, and the runner up was Chris Hough, both players played fantastically well and both hit 180s in the final, but Paul narrowly won 4-3.
We have also been very fortune to have members of Geoff's family join us for tonight's event which we are incredibly grateful to have their continued support, Geoff's family are pictured above.
We've also raised a sensational £116 on the raffle which is being donated to Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, and Geoff's family have very kindly donated a further £60 taking our total to a MASSIVE £176!
So thank you to everyone for digging deep and helping us in supporting this amazing charity.
I'd lastly like to thank The Runcorn Darts Committee for the running the tournament flawlessly and thanks to the Wilson's for hosting this event.
