We are down to just seven teams unbeaten in the Geoff Jones Runcorn Darts League after the fourth round of games.
Its now The Con Artists in Section Three with the best record, dropping just seven legs so far after an 8-1 demolition at Northern R Soles. They are now the only unbeaten team in the section after High Voltage lost 7-2 at home to Norton Arms. The Willies collected their third win from four games after a 5-4 win at Beechwood Bullets, whilst every team has now won a game in that section. Bang Tidies won 5-4 at Quarrymen, whilst Wilsons Woodchuckers also won 5-4 against Castle Double Tops, one of nine games on the night decided in the last leg.
Bogey Flickers made it four wins from four on the night that their teammate Luke Littler won the Premier League title - congratulations Luke from all at the League! Unlike Luke's 11-7 win though, the Flickers had to go to a last leg decider to hand Total Confusion their first loss. Wanderers are level with Flickers after a 7-2 win over Clarry B, whilst Bully Dogs came from 4-3 down to beat The Lads 5-4. Halfway Mixed had a 6-3 win at Beechwood Cavaliers, whilst everyone in the section now has points after Runcorn Linnets beat Northern Bar 7-2.
The Roundside are now the outright leaders of Section Two, making it four wins from four with a 5-4 win at Nomads. They had to do it the hard way though with Nomads leading 4-2 at one point. Halfway Peers jumped to second after beating previously unbeaten Has Beens 5-4, that also being a last leg decider. Clarry Tats came from 4-3 down to beat Windy Hill Bullys 5-4, whilst Doo Waps also had a last leg decider win, beating Halfway to the Fids 5-4. The best win in the section came from The Royal who won 6-3 at Northern Starks.
The A Team are outright leaders of Section Four after a 6-3 win over Golden Arrows. Three teams are within two points of them, two of them being Halfway Bar and Legacy Darts who played each other, the latter running out 6-3 winners. The other team on six points are Wine Bar, whose unbeaten record went with a 5-4 loss at Lockdown Legends. Biggest win of the night was 8-1 for Lockdown Lizards who won at Addy Chuckers, whilst Blue Oyster Bar won the last three legs to claim a 5-4 win over Northern Flytes.
In Section Five, there is still nothing to separate Beechwood Originals and Flight Attendants at the top, both winning four with an identical leg record. Both had 7-2 away wins this week against The Fat 20s and Bottom House respectively. Another 7-2 win came at The Prospect who handed Linnets Chuckers their first ever loss. Queen of Hearts Mixed made it three successive wins after beating The Warmy Wobblers 6-3, whilst Low Voltage came from 4-3 down to beat The Unusual Suspects 5-4.

There were also some good double starts in doubles games this week, with Gary Chaffe (Castle Double Tops) hitting a 160 start and Glyn Mason (Halfway Peers) getting away with a 152.
Performance of the week, if there is such a thing, must go to Ste Shackleton (Runcorn Linnets) for his 10 tons in across his 4 games.
